Position Overview
Genial Care is seeking a dynamic and experienced finance executive to join our team as we prepare for our Series B financing and beyond. This position requires a hands-on approach and the ability to drive financial strategy in a high-growth environment.
As the VP of Finance, you will play a crucial role in steering the company through its next phase of growth, including potential expansion into adjacent markets.
Key Responsibilities
- Series B Preparation & Execution:
- Lead the preparation and execution of our Series B financing process, in collaboration with the Founder.
- Run investor relations on an ongoing basis prior to and after Series B
- Business Development
- Support negotiations with new potential health insurance partners
- Help manage ongoing relationships with existing partners
- Financial Controls & Metrics:
- Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting and metrics.
- Keep the leadership team aligned with the company’s financial performance.
- Oversee and manage the auditing process, anticipated to commence in 2025 based on 2024 financials.
- Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A):
- Lead the FP&A function, providing insightful analysis and strategic financial planning.
- Accounts Payable & Receivable:
- Manage the company’s accounts payable and receivables functions, ensuring efficiency and accuracy.
- Tax Compliance & Planning:
- Ensure compliance with all tax requirements and optimize tax planning strategies.
Qualifications
- Experience executing financing rounds, particularly Series B or similar.
- Proven experience in a senior finance role
- Proven experience in the Brazilian healthcare industry, preferably with health insurance negotiations
- Demonstrated expertise in financial controls, FP&A, and managing auditing processes.
- Excellent analytical, strategic planning, and leadership skills.
- Strong understanding of tax compliance and planning.
